Founder-led email works well at launch. Every automated alert comes from the founder. It makes sense at the start, but it breaks when a product actually grows. Today we shipped an update to our notification pipeline to remove that bottleneck. 📬
All system updates and welcome flows now route directly through Rachel Hills, who leads our communications desk.
Clearer communication lines
We updated the core templates across the platform. The sender name and signature now accurately reflect who actually manages the outbound flow.
When users receive a welcome email or a low balance alert, they see a direct line to the person running the desk. It removes the delay of founder-bound replies. Users no longer wonder if a founder is reading a transactional reply. They know exactly who is on the other end. 🤝
Removing artificial delays
Before this update, transactional emails signed off from the founder. That structure meant replies piled up in an inbox that was not built for rapid user support.
By routing the onboarding sequences and account alerts through a dedicated communications lead, we ensure faster routing and clear accountability. The signature and sender profiles update dynamically based on the environment.
It is a straightforward change in the infrastructure. We updated the core email shell and the signature components to inherit the new profile details. Every template across the platform stays in sync automatically. Production emails now render with real human sender names instead of bare addresses.
Scaling a platform requires removing founders from the center of every automated process. The communication pipeline is now built for the next phase of growth. 🚀
