Watching the AI Work: Live Progress and Access Controls

Taking Command of the Analysis

You should never have to guess what your tools are doing in the background.

Solidmatics exists to give founders and executives a clear view of their engineering teams. You connect your infrastructure, and the system tells you if the work being produced actually matters. We focus on meaning instead of motion. Now we are giving you a clearer view of how that analysis operates.

We rolled out a live progress panel for commitment runs. Previously you triggered a run and waited for the final report. Now you can watch the system process your data in real time. ⏱️

Visibility requires control to be useful. If you trigger an analysis and immediately realize you need to adjust the parameters, you no longer have to wait for the operation to finish. You can cancel an active run instantly.

Shifting the Time Window

Leaders often need to look backward to understand why a specific project derailed or how a critical milestone was hit. Digging through configuration settings to change your reporting scope wastes time.

We introduced a quick menu that lets you re-run the analysis for any historical period. You select the exact dates, and the engine evaluates the team commitments for that specific window. 🔍

Securing Performance Data

Performance evaluations require strict boundaries. The person paying the engineering bills needs to know who is shipping real features and who has gone entirely quiet. The broader organization does not need access to that raw reality.

We locked down the access controls on the people page. Leadership retains total visibility into the team metrics, while unauthorized access is strictly blocked. 🛡️

AI generated code broke the old metrics. Counting activity tells you nothing about actual progress. You need an independent way to know if your team is building something useful. These updates make it faster to get that objective read and much safer to maintain it.
